California Car Crashes

Roughly 6 million car wrecks are reported in the United States each year. Of these collisions, around 3 million suffer injuries. Auto wrecks are one of the most common causes of injury and death in the nation. Also, for citizens traveling outside the country or residing abroad, car wrecks are a leading cause of unnatural death.

More auto collisions occur in California than in any other state. There are approximately 400,000 car wrecks reported in California per year that result in injuries for more than 150,000 people. Sadly, over 3,000 are killed in traffic crashes per year in the Golden State. Statistics concerning auto collisions in California reveal that the state sees more than 1,000 accidents per day.

The hundreds of thousands of car crashes that take place every year in California are mostly caused by driver negligence. Things like driver distraction, intoxication, and speeding are all dangerous forms of driver error. More than 94% of the reported car crashes in the United States are the result of driver negligence, according to recent statistics gathered concerning car wrecks.
