California Car Accidents
Car accidents in California often happen more than 400,000 times per year. Over 150,000 people sustain injuries in these collisions, and more than 3,000 lose their lives. Usually, the injured victims of severe crashes require immediate and prolonged medical care to recover fully. Sometimes victims need emergency or repeat surgeries. These treatments, along with an ambulance ride, can cost a lot of money. On top of that, serious injuries sustained in an auto collision can keep a person from work for days, weeks, or months. All of this combined can be extremely overwhelming and stressful, and crash victims may not know where to turn for help.
On average, more than 6,000 people are killed in pedestrian accidents per year in the United States. In California, nearly 900 pedestrians lose their lives per year. Despite the strict laws maintained by the Golden State concerning the safety of pedestrians, individuals continue to sustain injuries and even lose their lives in pedestrian accidents. These wrecks happen at an alarming rate in California due to the high number of people residing in the state.
