Santa Monica, CA (June 21, 2022) – A fatal traffic accident happened in Santa Monica on June 21. At approximately 3:30 a.m., responders were dispatched to the crash scene on the 10 Freeway to help the involved parties.
Reports indicate the incident occurred near the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp of the 10 Freeway. A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were involved in a collision in the area.
California Highway Patrol officers arrived at the scene to find one victim deceased. It was later learned that the victim was the involved pedestrian. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
