Santa Fe Springs, CA (May 11, 2022) – A motorist lost their life after an auto accident reported on a freeway in Santa Fe Springs. The wreck happened at around 4:05 p.m. on Interstate 5.
According to information provided by the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened between a motorcycle and a sedan south of East Florence Avenue.
An involved motorist lost their life at the scene, sources said. Three left lanes of Interstate 5 near East Florence Avenue were closed while police investigated the circumstances of the wreck.
The victim was pronounced deceased on-site by medical professionals. Their identity has not been released at this time as authorities continue to investigate.
