Newhall, CA (May 14, 2022) – Five people were hurt in a car accident in Newhall on Friday, May 13. The incident happened at approximately 11:40 a.m., according to reports.
Sources say the incident occurred on the 14 Freeway near Placerita Canyon Road. Early reports show that an SUV traveling south collided with another vehicle before rolling over and landing in the northbound lanes of the freeway.
One person was pinned and had to be extricated from the wreckage by firefighters. Five people were hospitalized with unknown injuries, according to reports.
Traffic was backed up on both sides of the freeway while emergency crews worked in the area. Nothing further has been reported concerning the incident.
