Mendocino Co, CA (June 29, 2022) – A man from Southern California lost his life in a head-on collision that also caused injuries to one woman in Mendocino County. On Monday evening, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene to help those involved.
According to reports from authorities, the wreck happened on Highway 101 when the man from Burbank, age 36, crashed his Toyota Prius into a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The man lost his life as a result of the crash.
The driver of the Jeep, only identified as female, suffered major injuries and was transported from the scene to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. One passenger present in her vehicle at the time sustained no injuries.
Police officials in Mendocino continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
