Los Angeles, CA (July 16, 2022) – A vehicle overturned causing serious injuries to its occupants on a freeway in Los Angeles. The incident happened at approximately 10:10 a.m., sources said.
According to local officials, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway near Sunset Boulevard. What led up to the accident is still under police investigation.
Firefighters had to extricate two victims from the vehicle at the scene. After the collision, the vehicle stopped on the northbound Hollywood Boulevard on-ramp after striking two poles.
Local drivers were asked to expect delays and congestion in the area while emergency crews were present. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
Police in Los Angeles continue to investigate.
