Los Angeles, CA (March 11, 2022) – One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash at an intersection in the Exposition Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Responders were observed at the scene at approximately 12:50 a.m. Thursday, March 10.
An SUV and a sedan were involved in the wreck at the intersection of Normandie Avenue and Exposition Boulevard. One person was injured and transported by paramedics to an area hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the driver of one of the involved vehicles left the scene after the wreck occurred. LAPD South Traffic Division stated that a caller from the scene reported four people were running away from the crash site at around 1:20 a.m.
It remains unclear whether the four people were involved in the collision. The vehicles collided near the Metro Tracks resulting in the closure of track access while crews worked to clear the crash scene.
Police continue to investigate the details of the accident. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victim.
