California Car Wrecks
Driver negligence causes the majority of car wrecks in California and throughout the United States. In fact, millions of accidents happen every year due to the negligence of drivers. Some of these include speeding, distraction, and intoxication. Drunk driving causes over 1,000 car wrecks per year in California, and about 30% of these collisions claim the life of at least one person.
Each year, over 10,000 people are killed by drunk driving in the United States. Approximately 30% of the wrecks reported in the US can be attributed to distracted driving, and over 1,000 deaths were caused by speeding. Injuries sustained in car wrecks caused by intoxicated, distracted, or reckless drivers are often worse than injuries sustained in regular auto accidents. This is because negligent behavior can sometimes cause more serious accidents.
Those who are injured in auto accidents are often affected by their accident in numerous ways. Injured victims must undergo mental, physical, and emotional hardships that require a lot of time, money, and energy. Basically, their entire lives are turned upside down. Expensive medical bills and being unable to work can be extremely stressful.
