Los Angeles, CA (May 25, 2022) – The Los Angeles City Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal car crash that happened in La Crescenta in Los Angeles. According to reports, the wreck happened between a car and a semi-truck at approximately 11:52 p.m. on May 24.
The incident occurred on the 210 Freeway near the La Tuna Canyon Exit. When police arrived at the scene, they found one person who had been thrown from the vehicle due to the impact and another still inside the vehicle that was wedged underneath the semi-truck.
LAFD Heavy Rescue personnel had to use a crane to lift the tractor-trailer in order to remove the vehicle from underneath it. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities have not been released at this time.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the details of the incident. No further information has been reported concerning the details of the incident.
