California Traffic Collisions
California’s annual crash rate is higher than any other state in the nation. The highly populated Golden State sees approximately 400,000 vehicle collisions per year. These accidents leave close to 250,000 people with injuries, and take the lives of about 3,500 people each year. Luckily, a large percentage of the accidents that take place in California each year are only fender benders. However, some of them do result in serious injuries or even death, as the statistics reveal.
While bus accidents make up just a small percentage of the number of annual fatal accidents in the United States, the results of a bus accident are often tragic. The National Transportation Safety Board found that buses and other commercial vehicles are more likely to become involved in deadly wrecks than passenger vehicles.
If you have recently been hurt in a bus accident in California, you may be wondering whether you can collect compensation for your injuries and losses. If the crash you were injured in was caused by negligence, you should file a personal injury claim with a personal injury attorney in California.
