Huntington Beach, CA (June 1, 2022) – An 82-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash on Tuesday, May 31 in Seal Beach. Initial reports reveal the wreck occurred at around 12:30 p.m. 

According to information from officials, the accident occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway just north of Goldenwest Street. Police actively responded to the crash site at around 12:30 p.m. 

Preliminary investigations showed that the elderly man was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry when he was headed south on PCH. He was then involved in a collision with a 2013 Volkswagen GTI.

Authorities in Huntington Beach continue to investigate the details of the accident. The driver of the GTI was identified as a woman, age 25, from Huntington Beach. 

She was said to have sustained injuries in the accident. They were not life-threatening. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment as needed.
