California Auto Collisions
More than 90% of car wrecks reported in the United States happen due to driver negligence. Driving negligently includes drunk driving, distracted and fatigued driving, and driving while speeding. Car crashes throughout the nation and across California are caused by driver negligence.
The annual accident rate in California is higher than in any other state in the United States. The densely populated Golden State sees more than 400,000 car wrecks annually. These collisions leave more than 250,000 people injured and end the lives of approximately 3,500 people per year. A large percentage of the car wrecks that occur in California each year are classified as ‘fender benders,’ however, a portion of these collisions do result in injuries or even fatalities.
When people sustain injuries in auto collisions, they can be forced to stay in the hospital for days, weeks, or even months. Victims can lose much-needed wages which can result in anxiety and stress. Depending on the nature of your crash, you may be eligible to collect compensation for emotional trauma, lost wages, vehicle repairs, and more. A Pennsylvania car accident attorney will be your best shot at collecting compensation for your injuries and losses.
You may be frustrated with all of the bills piling up after you were hurt in a wreck caused by someone else, and rightfully so. You should not have to pay all the associated costs of injuries caused by another person. The person who caused your injuries should be held accountable for their actions. Courts throughout California provide injured accident victims with numerous legal options that they can use to obtain compensation.
