Chatsworth, CA (June 16, 2022) – A fatal car wreck was reported in Chatsworth. The incident occurred on Wednesday night, June 15.
At approximately 8:38 p.m., responders were sent to the scene to help injured parties. According to reports, the crash occurred in the 9900 block of North Winnetka Avenue.
Firefighters had to extricate one of the victims from their vehicle at the crash site. Police stated that one person lost their life in the collision and one was seriously hurt.
Those involved have not been identified at this time. Police in Chatsworth are still working to determine the cause of the wreck.
Paramedics treated the injured victim on-site before transporting them to a local hospital for further care. Nothing further has been reported concerning the collision at this time.
