Agoura Hills, CA (July 01, 2022) – One person was killed and another injured during a head-on collision just outside of Agoura Hills on Thursday, June 30th.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene on Agoura Road at about 7:25 p.m. when a westbound driver collided head-on with a driver going eastbound after a misguided attempt to bypass traffic on the two-lane road.
One driver died at the scene. The other was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-critical injuries. It was not made clear which driver was which.
No additional details are being released due to the ongoing nature of the police investigation.
