Acton, CA (March 30, 2022) – A 24-year-old man driving down the wrong side of the road lost his life in Acton Wednesday, March 30 in a head-on crash. The wreck left other involved motorists with injuries, according to reports.
The male driver lost his life at the scene of the collision, which was reported just before 5:00 a.m. on the 30th. Responders were called to the area of San Gabriel Avenue on the Sierra Highway for reports of a fatal head-on accident.
Information from the California Highway Patrol reveals that the man was headed north on the highway in a Honda when he crossed into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Nissan. The driver of the Nissan, a 38-year-old man, was transported to an area medical center for the treatment of major injuries.
Police continue to investigate the details of the incident.
