California Car Wrecks
Approximately 6 million car crashes happen in the United States every year. Roughly 3 million people are hurt in these wrecks per year. Auto accidents are one of the leading causes of severe injuries and fatalities in the nation. They also cause more injuries and death for US citizens residing outside of the country than anything else.
More auto accidents happen in California than in most other states in the nation. More than 400,000 auto crashes occur in the Golden State every year that cause serious injuries for over 150,000 people. Every day, more than 1,000 car wrecks occur in California daily.
Driver negligence is responsible for most of these collisions. Driver distraction, speeding, and intoxication are the three most prevalent forms of driver negligence seen in the country. Roughly 9 out of 10 car wrecks occur because of the actions of negligent drivers.
When you lose a loved one in an auto collision caused by a negligent driver, it can feel like your life has stopped. You may feel depressed, overwhelmed, and anxious. Anger and frustration may be lingering in your mind, especially if you think your loved one’s accident was the result of another person’s actions.
The accidents caused by negligent drivers usually cause more severe and fatal injuries than other types of collisions. Driving while fatigued or distracted is comparable to drunk/high driving, which is the most deadly and dangerous form of driver negligence. Despite the type of negligence that causes a crash, drivers who choose to act careless, reckless, or otherwise negligent put everyone on the road at risk for injuries or death.
