Los Angeles, CA (May 24, 2022) – A fatal hit-and-run crash happened in Los Angeles. The incident occurred on Sunday night, May 22, at approximately 9:08 p.m. in the Vermont-Slauson area.
Police and paramedics responded to the crash scene located on Normandie Avenue near 59th Street. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene without stopping to render aid or wait for authorities to arrive.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to reports. No immediate information has been released regarding the details of the collision or the identity of the victim.
