Los Angeles, CA (April 16, 2022) – A bicyclist was killed on Saturday, April 15th after he was struck by a car on Crystal Springs Drive in Los Angeles.
The accident took place at about 3:45 p.m. in the 4400th block of Crystal Springs Drive.
The victim, a man in his 70s, was riding northbound when he was hit by a northbound driver who was also going northbound. The victim died at the scene due to blunt force trauma.
The driver of the striking vehicle attempted to flee on foot but was eventually apprehended by police.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
